Plan for the Land joined TIES.

As the goal of Plan for the land Society to work with International Scientific organizations and Researchers, and also participation in world biodiversity Conservation programs, this society joined The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) on July 2008.
TIES is the largest and oldest ecotourism organization in the world dedicated to promoting ecotourism and Founded in 1990.This Organization is a non-profit, non-governmental and multi-stakeholder association.
This Society currently has members in more than 90 countries, representing various fields including academics, consultants, conservation professionals and organizations.
In otherword, TIES is a global network of ecotourism professionals and travelers that relates them to each other and makes their efforts for conservation, poverty alleviation, protection of culture and bio-diversity, more effective.
Although this is the first step of making some effective realtions with other same fieldwork institutions, this membership, for Plan for the Land Society, can be the main gate of participating in international projects and working with scientists and researchers of all over the world.
